OREGON - CAMPGROUND REVIEWS

WIFI - Yes, but weak
AT&T - Yes, 4 bars
VERIZON - Yes, 5 bars
COSTS - $40 Nightly
SERVICES - FHU's, Trash dumpster, Laundry, Showers, Bathrooms, Cable but very fuzzy.

REVIEW - Kind of hard to spot from the highway with a smallish "Rv Park" sign on the west side of the highway. We were somewhat apprehensive given the reviews but this park is OK. It needs better maintenance as the cable needs servicing, the water spigots drip a bit and the sewer hook up will require you to have at least 20' of sewer hose.  The lawn maintenance could be better but all in all it  works and is literally 200' from the beach which negates all of the other stuff in our opinion.  The owners have made good strides to bringing this park up to standards. Most of the sites were level and ours was almost dead level.

Tillicum Beach Campground, Yachats, Oregon - RATING 4.7/5 for the natural beauty of this spot

WIFI - No
AT&T - 1/2 bars, 5 bars with our cell booster but still very slow
VERIZON - No
SERVICES - BE SELF CONTAINED WITH WATER AND EMPTY WASTE TANKS.

Tillicum Beach Campground is popular for many reasons, but the number one is that most of the 61 campsites have beachfront views. The campground offers several single-family campsites, a few of which have both electric and water hookups. Sites with hookups are not on the waterfront. Due to the campground's popularity, it's a good idea to make reservations in advance. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided but there are no showers. We were in site 21 and it was very UN-level and sort of tough to get a 40' coach pulling a toad on a dolly into. But not impossible. It is a very quiet place.

NOTE* there is water at the park but no showers in the bathrooms and NO dump station. There is a city dump in Gold Beach, California to the South and to the north the City of Walport has a city dump station.

COSTS -  $26/Night for single unit, $7/Night for extra vehicle. $33 for electric hookup sites.
DISCOUNTS -  Golden Age and Access Passes) may receive a 50% discount on the use fee for individual campsites. This discount does not apply to extra vehicle fee or multiple campsites.

REVIEW - Wonderful campground with our own small patio, shade by Siska Spruce, Clean beyond reproach. Great water pressure for your shower. At the very top of our budget but with Good Sams it was $240 for the week. Parking is somewhat tight but not to the point where you feel like your part of your neighbors extended family. The pull through's require respect as some of them have a deep ditch on either side of a culvert that gives you access to the site. I had to swing very wide right to line up our coach. It is quite doable but take your time.  Our site was able to accommodate our coach, our two dolly wedged under the rear of the coach and we were still able to angle park the car behind.

The area offers much to do and the scenery is just awe inspiring.  The staff here is quite nice and very helpful.
