Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin - Part one
(Remember, you can click on any photo to enlarge it - Enjoy!)
In a word the museum and big top were "brilliant." The price of admission was $37.00
(one senior and one adult ticket). Plus we had lunch on the grounds and bought a few postcards so we added another $18.00 to our tally but, overall it was a great day at a reasonable price.
The ticket entitles you to the museum where they have the largest collection of restored circus wagons in the world. There are hundreds of original circus lithograph posters too. But the piece de resistance is the real live circus performances under the big top.
This is a very worthwhile and unique experience. If you are in the area of Baraboo, it's well worth spending a half day or so there.
I will let our pictures and videos do the talking.
The largest collection of Restored Circus Wagons on the planet! Get ya some that!
New wagons were commissioned to carvers during the winter months while Ringling was wintering in Baraboo. The performers would work on their acts and new acts would audition there.
